Matthew 7:7-11 (NKJV)
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Psalm 37:4 (NKJV)
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (MSG)
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God…
An EXTRAORDINARY event manifesting divine intervention in our daily, human affairs.
Types of Miracles:
Miracle of MERCY, which leads to miracles of mercy
Ephesians 1:3,7 (NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ…. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace…
Miracle of OBEDIENCE, which leads to miracles of obedience
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (NKJV)
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
God’s Heart: The miraculous should be part of our lifestyle, not an anomaly.
(Story of Jesus and the adulterous woman - John 8:1-15)
(The story of Joshua - Joshua 1-4)
What: Live our lives in such a way that it releases the miraculous in our lives, and those around us.
When/Where: in our everyday messiness
How to create an environment for the miraculous:
3. Show Gratefulness through Obedience
4. Be confident; do not play passive (faith-nervous confidence)
5. Eliminate Wasteful Stressors
6. Surround yourself with other God chasers
7. Bring some others along
8. Be intentional about your inner circle
9. Destroy the work of the enemy
1. Motion triggers the miraculous.
2. Sacrifice is how God measures our level of surrender.
3. Commitment demonstrates our comprehension of the miracle of mercy.
